Florida

In October we had a family vacation in Florida. We went with some friends and their three little girls. We had such an amazing time. Lily loves the beach and asks to go back to the beach everyday. So I guess we've got to plan another trip...soon.

Nana & Papa's visit.

Nana & Papa came to visit in early Sept. We had so much fun. Going to the zoo, the park, shopping and just playing together. We love you Nana & Papa we miss you and can't wait for Christmas:)

Lily's latest accessory

What a beauty!
We discovered that Lily has an atigmatism and is far sighted. The eye Dr. recommends Lily to wear her glasses for reading, coloring, watching t.v..basically anything that requires her to see details. It has been harder on mommy than Lily. She will wear them all day if left on her face. All her friends now want a pair! How studious & intelligent. And we thought she couldn't get anymore beautiful...were we wrong.

Big girl weekend!

Lily has climbed out of her crib so she has graduated to a big girl bed. So far she loves it. She'll try coming out of her room a couple times each nap or bedtime. So a small battle has begun...but tha's no surprise to Daddy and Mommy. This is to all of you who been to our house and are wondering about the stairs. There is a gate at her door. So far the stairs have not been an issue.
Our little Lily is not so little anymore. We are so proud of our very good big girl.

Lily and mommy have been taking a ballet class together for the past few weeks. Lily loves her class. She is learning basic postures and more importantly how to follow instructio from somone other than mommy. She is learning how to stand and wait in a line and how to take turns. She is doing so good. Today she walked on her tip toes for most of her class...i am so proud of her. These pictures were taken today before class. I would take some in class but its a little tricky considering that i'm dancing right along with her.

lily's 2nd birthday

Lily is now 2!!! Wow...is she ever. She had a great birthday. We had two parties for her. One on her actual day was a pool party at home with her precious friends. Then on Saturday we had our extended family over to celebrate. Lots of fun and love!

Our church had a barn bash this past weekend. Lily was enjoying the live music and a bag of popcorn with her Daddy underneath a Southern sunset.

What my Daddy's been working on...

Closets anyone...this is the new California Closets showroom north of Nashville. Travis put in about a thousand hrs. getting this lookin' perfect. Amazing job my love, I am so proud of you. I would love one of those craft areas...a drawer for the ribbons and the wrapping paper.

We celebrated the grand opening on June 14th.

Our latest trip to ....Kelowna

We had a blast in Kelowna this summer. We hit the beach, water park, the Rhode family pool. Lily had an early birthday party with her Great Nana, Great Aunts and Uncle, Uncle Gray, her God parents, an Auntie from Nashville who came with us on this trip. Second and third cousins...and last but not least her Papa and Nana...and Mama too.
Trips to Papa & Nana's house has never a dull moment.


Daddy was never far from our hearts or ears!
