The park, a shake and firefly hunting

So the latest Kincaid adventure starts after dinner. We head to the park...we go for a nice long walk and Lily gets in some park play...of course. On the ride home it begins..the two words of the night. A shake and fireflies. As soon as we get home mama gets the nightly treat ready and the adventure firefly begins. Lily gets her bug net, and magnifying glass out and begins the searh for her beloved fireflies. Daddy and mama catch a few and they go in the net. Lily watches them and then sets them free..only to want more to be caught. She rarely wants to touch them...but ends up chasing them, trying to catch them herself. We love this part of the day. If only the fireflies were out all year 'round.
